Outside of my academic pursuits, I love immersing myself in music—both listening and singing—and I enjoy gaming, particularly non-competitive games that allow me to relax and unwind. I also spend a lot of time knitting, crocheting, solving puzzles, and watching long video essays or gameplay videos on YouTube. As a huge fan of animation, I often find myself watching both animated series and anime, and my favorite movies are Into the Spider-Verse and Howl’s Moving Castle. Looking forward, I aim to continue my journey into advocacy work for mental health and disability, combining my passion for policy with my personal experiences.
My research interests lie at the intersection of psychology, mental health, disability, and advocacy. I'm particularly focused on the impact of gene therapy and gene editing, exploring how these modern technologies connect to the historical eugenics movements that targeted disabled individuals in the US. My work is rooted in disability justice, with a focus on how policy and advocacy can improve mental health outcomes and amplify disabled voices.
