I’m a first-generation transfer student from Southwestern Community College in San Diego. I’m majoring in Rhetoric and plan to apply for the masters in library and information science program at San Jose State University after my time here at Cal. I'm a part of many communities on campus, such as EOP, transfers, re-entry, NavCal, and Underground Scholars. My academic, professional, and personal goals all intersect and include research (trying to answer the question of why), writing a novel, becoming a librarian, and helping others. I like walking in grocery stores, hiking, weightlifting, building Metal Earth models, and trying new restaurants. I want to pursue a PhD degree after I graduate.

Outside of my academic pursuits, I love immersing myself in music—both listening and singing—and I enjoy gaming, particularly non-competitive games that allow me to relax and unwind. I also spend a lot of time knitting, crocheting, solving puzzles, and watching long video essays or gameplay videos on YouTube. As a huge fan of animation, I often find myself watching both animated series and anime, and my favorite movies are Into the Spider-Verse and Howl’s Moving Castle.
