Abdullah Enes Kut is a senior Political Science student, a Public Service Center Ambassador, and an Institute of Governmental Studies Student Director. With a specialization in international relations, he is primarily involved in research that examines the social, political and economic fabric of developing societies on an international scale, with his primary interests including the examination of power structures, interstate coercion, the merits and shortcomings of international organizations, and the case for modern state sovereignty. To practically engage with these concepts, Enes actively delegates for the UC Berkeley Model United Nations club and travels to 2+ conferences each semester, in which he represents various global actors/states and engages with the nuances of policymaking first-hand. His participation in the political arena is further supported by his legislative internship with Congresswoman Doris Matsui, as well as his incumbent position as the chair of Embrace Relief—an international non-profit organization serving Africa, Asia, Europe and North America.
